5. Design of Experiments

 

        Relative Experiment: 


Treatments: In a comparative experiment various objects are used, which are known as treatments. Eg: Different fertilizers, different verities of crops, different methods of cultivation, different advertisement channels, different ways of packing merchandise etc..

Experimental Unit: The smallest division of the experimental material to which we apply the treatments and to which we make observations on the variable under study, is termed as experimental units. Eg: Plots in agriculture land, Patients in Hospital, a batch of seeds etc.
